I finially finished building the landing gear and gimbal for the GoPro camera. Here is how it looks with everything mounted.
After trimming as much weight as possible the landing gear and gimbal came out to be 367 grams.
Here you can see that I mounted the battery in the back to counted the weight of the camera. I wanted to keep the quad copter as balanced as possible.
The final weight of the DJI F450 with everything mounted is 1591 grams. I can only get this thing to flry with the GemFan 10x4.5 props. When I try to use the Grauper 10x5 props it would not even leave the ground. I have some new 2216 Tiger motors coming in soon, and I will try some larger props with the DJI motor plate extension.
