The thing I missed the most about the Spektrum DX8 radio system is the built in telemetry. When I switched over to a Futaba 8FG radio, it do not have any telemetry functions and nor can it be added. The only option is use a 3rd party system or OSD. The cheapest route and the least amount of equipment to carry is to use a Quanum 2.4Ghz Telemetry System v3.

The only thing I need to add to the aircraft is the small sensor. All I do is plug the balance port from the lipo battery to this sensor and I will be able to read the voltage at all times.

I am not really happy about the placement of the readout screen but i’m not sure what other options I have. The main issue I have with this screen is it being in the way when I try to put the radio back the case.
