Tarot 680Pro Hexacopter (The Build)

From the start I did not plan to build this frame as it was designed. I wanted to extend the arms so it will accommodate 15″ props. All I did was swap out the shorter 16mm carbon fiber tubes from the 680Pro kit to the tubes from the standard 680 kit.

The initial setup:

  • Tarot 680PRO Frame w/ extended arms
  • DJI A2 w/ Pro Plus GPS
  • SunnySky 3508 360kv Motors
  • T-Motor 25a ESC
  • DJI 15×5.2 Folding Props
  • Custom Gimbal (made from random parts I had)
  • Nex 6 Camera
  • Multistar 6S 10000mAh Lipo
  • Max Flight Time: 15min
  • Total Weight (AUW): 4936g

I had to drill some new holes for the 2nd distribution board

I mounted the distribution board with rubber dampers because I plane to use attach the IMU to the top of it. The idea is to reduce the amount of vibration to the IMU.

When I bought the SunnySky 3508 360kv Motors from the original owner he also included a set of DJI 15×5.2 Folding Props.
