I started to accumilate a lot of upgrade parts but never had a chance to install it. Here is a list of upgrades shown below
I am not a fan of the FLM Center Diff Mount but I bought it along with a package of used parts on RCTECH, so why not use it. It is the anodizing that I do not like, other than that it works fine. I really like the idea of the Modified RC Sealed and Booted Brake Discs for Losi 5ive. There is so much wear and heat from the extream angle from the center diff to the front axle, so I hope the grease will help it.
The Team Chase – Losi 5ive Steering Set-Up was pretty simple to install and it dropped right in with out any problems.
I did not want to make my own engine mesh plate so I bought one from Bartolone Racing. Because of the mesh plate, I had to switch out the Dark Soul clutch housing to Bartolone. But the strange thing about the new upgrades is that my vertigo clutch bell no longer fits. I had to machine some material off the Bartolone clutch housing so the clutch bell will not rub against it.
I did not really need the Turtle Racing Billet Air Filter Box but it was on sale at DDM so I picked one up.
The shocks does not look like much in the picture but there was a lot that was done to it. The only thing that was from the orginal shock is the adjustment ring. Everything else is new or have been upgraded. TLR hardern cap and body, Ti-Carbon Nitride coated shafts, Titanium Shock Standoffs, N-R-P Shock Seal Kit, and Axis R/C Billet Lower Shock Caps.
I like the last set of FullForce RC Losi 5IVE-T Aluminum Skid Plate so I bought another set when I went on sale at DDM.
To help me tune the engine I mounted a Trail Tech 72-A00 Digital Tach/Hour Meter. |
